    Today, the guest from Canada who visited the Tokyo Today, the guest from Canada who visited the Tokyo Karate Dojo Experience last week came back to the dojo once more before returning home.🇨🇦 After reviewing what we practiced last time, this time he learned and absorbed one of the karate kata. Kata is often described as a form of “moving Zen,” and it helps to harmonize both mind and body. I hope it brings something positive to his daily life back in Canada.     Today, an Indonesian woman joined our Tokyo Karate Today, an Indonesian woman joined our Tokyo Karate Dojo Experience. 🇮🇩 She currently lives in Japan.
Back in Indonesia, she used to practice karate, but she had been away from it for several years.

    Today was the last day of the long weekend, and we Today was the last day of the long weekend, and we welcomed two guests from France for the Tokyo Karate Dojo Experience 🇫🇷 We practiced simple breathing and relaxation movements together to help them feel their whole body more clearly. I hope these techniques will be useful in their daily lives after they return to France. During our cozy talk time, we found out that we are from the same generation. We had fun talking about Dragon Ball and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, and it made us feel close to each other. Tokyo will soon enter the cherry blossom season. 🌸 According to the forecast, the flowers will start to bloom on Tuesday, March 17, and they will be in full bloom on Wednesday, March 25. Shimo in Kita Ward, where the Soshikan Dojo is located, is very close to the Arakawa and Sumida Rivers. The cherry blossoms on the bank near the old Iwabuchi Water Gate are very beautiful. It is called the “Asakusa Edo Atmosphere Creation Project.” Mr. Ouchi, who helps Tokyo Karate Dojo Experience, invited me to join a ukiyo-e printing workshop on the first day. The event takes place in the Oku-Asakusa area. This area is quieter than the main street. During the event, you can enjoy the Edo-style town with lanterns (chōchin) and shop curtains (noren).
